Candle Care

A little care for every escape.

Whether your candle brings you home or takes you somewhere new, a few simple habits will help you enjoy every moment.

Before you light

Trim the wick to 5 mm before each burn, including the first. Remove any wick trimmings or debris from the wax. For candles with two wicks, trim and light both each time.

Let it settle

Allow time for the wax to melt evenly across the surface. Avoid repeated short burns, which can leave wax around the sides. Always follow the maximum burn time on your candle’s safety label—never keep burning just to reach the edges.

Find the right spot

Place your candle on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from draughts, curtains and anything that could catch fire. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Enjoy with care

Always keep your burning candle in sight and extinguish it before leaving the room or going to sleep. Never move or touch the jar while the candle is burning or the wax is liquid.

If the flame becomes unusually high, flickers excessively or produces smoke, extinguish it. Let it cool completely, then trim the wick before relighting.

Finish gently

Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. Never use water or the lid to put it out. Allow the wax and jar to cool completely before handling or replacing the lid.

Know when to say goodbye

Never burn your candle until the jar is empty. Stop at the minimum remaining wax level stated on its safety label, and discontinue use if the glass is chipped or cracked.

Between little escapes

Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Replace the lid once completely cool to keep dust out.

Please read the safety label beneath your candle before use.

Light it with intention. Enjoy the journey.
